Meet Imer Holman

Imer Holman is a proud Terre Haute native, a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, and a student at DePauw University. Throughout his life, he has remained committed to serving others through volunteerism, youth mentorship, and leadership in both his community and on campus. Having worked in a variety of roles within the Vigo County School Corporation, as well as in local law firms and prosecutors' offices, Imer has gained firsthand insight into the importance of strong public institutions and collaborative leadership. His experiences have reinforced his belief that great schools are built by listening to students, supporting educators, engaging families, and working together as a community. Imer is running for Vigo County School Board, District 1, because he believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed in a school that is safe, welcoming, and equipped to prepare them for the future. His campaign is focused on transparent and accountable leadership, supporting and retaining outstanding educators, modernizing school facilities, reducing unnecessary administrative burdens, and ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars. His vision is to create a school system that students are proud to attend, educators are proud to work in, and families are proud to support, preparing every student for success, strengthening our community, and building a stronger Terre Haute where future generations choose to live, work, and raise a family.
